The Mastectomy Pillow
The mastectomy pillow can be used under your arm when you have drain tubes after surgery. You can slide your arm between the pillow and the elastic strap to hold it in place easily. It can also be placed across your chest to protect you from the seat belt right after your surgery. A lot of people also use this pillow to help then sleeping - especially if they are a side sleeper.
The Port Pillow
The port pillow velcros under your seatbelt to protect the area where you port is located. The pillow will rest between you and the seatbelt. Althought I did not require a port, friends of mine that had ports said that the seatbelt seems to rub right across where the port is, making it very uncomfortable.
The Tank Top with Velcro and Pockets
The tank top with Velcro across the top can be worn following your mastectomy when it's difficult for you to raise your arms. You can either slide it over your head and pull it down to your waist, or step into it and pull it up. Then just attach the Velcro straps and you are done. This is extremely helpful to wear when you are going to all of your post-op doctor's appointments. You can undo the Velcro and drop the shirt to your waist for examinations and then just pull it back up without having to raise your arms. These tank tops include a interior pocket to hold the drain tubes following surgery.
The Lanyard
The lanyard can be used to hook your drain tubes onto when you shower. This will allow patients to shower (at least from the waist down) when they still have drain tubes following a mastectomy.
